ISRO Launches Spy Satellite – Should they announce such news?
I saw this news on IBNLive saying “India’s spy in the sky: ISRO launches RISAT-2“. The Indian Space Research Organisation on Monday successfully launched a revolutionary spy satellite that will help security agencies monitor the hundreds of mountain valleys that connect India with Pakistan and terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan further north.
Should such news be announced ? It doesn’t make sense. “Its like our professor saying we are going to have a surprise tests tomorrow”. Come on guys its a spy satellite !! And you announce as if its a weather forecast satellite !

Looks like there is too much intervention of Media.The Media should be careful in not making such news public.A similar kind of thing happened during the Mumbai attacks,where there were live feeds being shown of the places where the ATS and police were located.
High time to put some norms for the media.
