Since her first album which made waves in the music arena in 2007, she’s been on a raging hit sequence. Engineer by study, MBA by profession and singer by heart ! - SONA – the only Indian band to perform at ‘Rock for Rights’ concert at Lincoln Centre, New York

- Sona’s song, ‘Sapne’ was voted amongst the top 5 in the World Song Contest
- National Geographic has come up with a World Music Series which will go across 167 countries. This is a syndicated show which will be telecast across 3 networks this fall and attempts to profile artistes from different countries who represent the essense of independent rootsy but modern music in their respective countries. Sona features in the same along with Kailash Kher as two such artistes from India.
