Such News Posts make it to the Frontpage of IBNLive.com ! – Deepika Padukone’s ‘extra topping’
My friend who sent me this link – thought that it was a new movie called “extra topping”. I felt the same before reading the article and its really not shocking but was surprised though, to see such news posts making to the front-page of such reputed Newspaper website. This is not news, this is something like people blogging about their personal feelings on the newspapers. And note this was added through [Mid-Day]. They write every damn thing they feel personally and put it up as news and we should accept this as news? I don’t say people don’t want gossip but trying to drive traffic by putting such articles seems “interesting” . Hey ! we already have Rediff and Zoom for such stuff? Right ! Why one more .. Just check the screenshot and also the link. The title reads like this – [ Deepika Padukone's 'extra topping' ]
VOTD: 35 Movies in Two Minutes – 35MM
Seems like a nice piece of work. A unique thought of story telling of movies through icons.
Felix Meyer and Pascal Monaco picked up 35 of their favourite movies and show them in the shortest of the time. Its a nice journey of different genre of movies of different times brought together in a 2 minutes video.
Even though I have seen these movies I couldn’t make out many of those seeing the video. I could figure out only Titanic, Jaws, Apollo 13, Toy Story and Gone with the wind. Watch the video and lets see how many movies do you get out of this 2 minutes video.
note: wondering whats VOTD ? Its – Video of the day

These are some of the movies I like and some are my fav too. One of the reasons for liking these movies is the actress voice in these movies. Probably many wouldn’t know who has provided the voice for these actresses. These beautiful voices have also got awards for their art of voice dubbing. I love the voice in Bommarillu and Vaaranam Aayiram the most. So let us see who has given the voice for the actresses in those movies.

Why was BMW’s Greek Premium Used Car Ad called “Shameful” ?
Ad Text: “You know you’re not the first.” Most simply described “BMW premium used cars are so beautiful, it won’t matter if you’re not the first driver”
Brandy Schaffels wrote on Automotive Traveller:
Everybody on the American women’s blogging network is talking about a recent BMW ad (pictured at the right). And all of them are offended by it.
According to Interpol: “Age of consent for sexual activity: The legal age of consent for sexual activity is fifteen (15) years.” Whispering: Did you know they also allow nude sunbathing on the public beaches there? Some might also consider that offensive. I would simply like to remind “Different strokes for different folks.”
When the fact is clear that that was intended for Greek audience and the information above about the sexual consent is clear, why create a fuss about it. Instead of taking it personally, we should appreciate the way the ad was made. The fact converted so very nicely to an ad which conveys so much about the car !
I liked this sentence from the article by Brandy – “Trust me: BMW marketers spent a lot of time, money, and research developing that ad for its intended market. The fact that we are offended More >
Media Not Taking Any Sides? – 3 Idiots & Five Point Someone Issue
Lets list out the media comments and articles from different newspapers and sites. No site or newspaper has taken sides of any of the two parties, either 3 Idiots nor Chetan Bhagat’s. Media seems to be very clever in such issues. They remain silent to see how the controversy grows and gives more hits and readership to the papers and their sites . All the articles on the news sites don’t confirm anything concrete even though they have seen the movie and read the book too ? Why is everything left to the readers? If you people know the truth and believe in it, why not publish something concrete so that people will know whats wrong and whats right ?. Between.. the video by Raju Hirani and 4th Idiot site has umpteen convincing reasons about who is right and who is not ! Check out

Harmonious Kannada Music – Overdose?
There was a time when kannada music was really soothing with a real blend of style and variety. No doubt, the music experience is still soothing but with less intermixture. The annavaru era was the time where we had an amalgamation of traditional classical, sooper romantic, senti and dance numbers. Those songs had a diverse melody in them and we can say present day music sort of has it in them and as well as not. This might be lightly controversial and disturbing statement, but its very true.
If you can recollect the number of good songs which have been coming up since 2006, we of course owe a lot to the amazing music maker Mr.Mano Murthy and his uncommon style of producing melody. But, wait a little and refresh your memory ! Even other music makers started cloning his style. Yeno antaar alla “atiyada amruta nu visha agatte” antha. Its not that this style of slow style music isn’t good or wasn’t done before and it isn’t experimental, but… there were several genre of music too – not just a single frequency trend (i hope you got it !).
Let me take you back to 2006 when this form of euphony More >
