YouTube, Gmail updated with new features – Gmail Invitation Still Alive !
Many of you must have observed few small changes in YouTube and Gmail in this week. Youtube ads a new look for playing the next video after you finish playing one and a slightly different style of putting up related videos after playback (looks nice).
And gmail adds pixel saving features to minimize/hide modules which you think you are not interested in, and separation of mail, contacts looks good too.
But the question remains that after all these updates, the Gmail Invitation feature still remains alive ? Why? Gmail is not in Beta and has a feature for signup. So why still have invitation facility being visible to the users and also with the “invites left” counter (71 left) showing up. They could just hide that feature – as we don’t use it – as Gmail is not exclusive as it was few years ago when it started and people had to get an invite to signup .

My friend who sent me this link – thought that it was a new movie called “extra topping”. I felt the same before reading the article and its really not shocking but was surprised though, to see such news posts making to the front-page of such reputed Newspaper website. This is not news, this is something like people blogging about their personal feelings on the newspapers. And note this was added through [Mid-Day]. They write every damn thing they feel personally and put it up as news and we should accept this as news? I don’t say people don’t want gossip but trying to drive traffic by putting such articles seems “interesting” . Hey ! we already have Rediff and Zoom for such stuff? Right ! Why one more .. Why was BMW’s Greek Premium Used Car Ad called “Shameful” ?

Everybody on the American women’s blogging network is talking about a recent BMW ad (pictured at the right). And all of them are offended by it.
According to Interpol: “Age of consent for sexual activity: The legal age of consent for sexual activity is fifteen (15) years.” Whispering: Did you know they also allow nude sunbathing on the public beaches there? Some might also consider that offensive. I would simply like to remind “Different strokes for different folks.”
When the fact is clear that that was intended for Greek audience and the information above about the sexual consent is clear, why create a fuss about it. Instead of taking it personally, we should appreciate the way the ad was made. The fact converted so very nicely to an ad which conveys so much about the car !

Media Not Taking Any Sides? – 3 Idiots & Five Point Someone Issue
Lets list out the media comments and articles from different newspapers and sites. No site or newspaper has taken sides of any of the two parties, either 3 Idiots nor Chetan Bhagat’s. Media seems to be very clever in such issues. They remain silent to see how the controversy grows and gives more hits and readership to the papers and their sites . All the articles on the news sites don’t confirm anything concrete even though they have seen the movie and read the book too ? Why is everything left to the readers? If you people know the truth and believe in it, why not publish something concrete so that people will know whats wrong and whats right ?. iPhone Apps – Puff – UpSkirt App on iPhone!
I follow techcrunch on twitter and saw this post title and was surprised ! So went and checked their post and I was just LMAO… This is an strange cool app where you get to move your hand and the skirt in the picture goes up ! ufff.. The app is called “Puff!” How come such apps get in the iTunes store ? .. Check the video of the app demo and this is the screenshot of the Puff app.
Video: hahahahhaa.. I immediately tried to try this “interesting” app, but it wasn’t free..anyway nice things aren’t free nowadays ..This app is on iTunes store and priced at $0.99 .. njoy upskirting ..
Coke Studio – A Nonpareil Crescendo of Euphonic Experience
Junoon Band was the first sufi style fusion based music which was one of my very favs. And when I found out about Coke Studio, I was amazed by the music on the site. Oh ! man what a platform, wah..kya music.. those amazing voices are just mind blowing. Coke Studio is such a unique concept of putting together so many different artists & difference types of music. They cover so many genre music -Classical, Ghazal, Qawwali, Pop, Filmi, Rock and Hip Hop. With fusion mix of ethnic, religious with latest instruments is quite an amazing mix. The lyrics, the style and the depth with which the artists sing make you feel so very relaxed and I can bet, you will certainly experience an out of world experience. One thing I liked is that there is no live audience in the show( audience brings in extra background sound).
Some of my fav’s among those are – Toomba by Sain Zahoor, Dastaan-e-Ishq – Ali Zafar, Aik Alif – Saieen Zahoor and Noori
